Last year, the Argonne team set a goal to make VCP a one-stop shop for meeting collaboration. Building on our core App Suite, the team finalized production of Event Manager to support registration efforts and integrated the Lync client into the platform to support everything from a chat with a colleague to a web meeting with dozens of participants. Our Lync client provides POCs with a dedicated phone number for conference calls, web meetings, and making external calls. Need to call someone on their cellphone and add them in to your conference call? No problem! Lync’s new features include:
- Full support for mobile devices
- Browser-based web meetings
- Full telephone functionality
- “Always-available” dedicated chat rooms
